✦   A YEAR OF REIKI - REVIEW

From Day 1 to today: your transformation

Why a yearly review should be more than remembrance

A year of Reiki is long enough for not only individual exercises, but an entire inner path to become visible. Whoever merely says at the end that it was "a beautiful journey" often remains too general. A real review asks more precisely: What has actually changed in you?

This concerns not only your knowledge, but also your perception, your way of reacting, your body, your heart, your silence and your relationships. A yearly review is therefore a form of truth practice.

What you can bring into view

Look at several levels:

- How has your daily practice developed? - What has become of your initial uncertainty? - Which themes have changed you most deeply? - Which crises or resistances have corrected you? - Where has real maturation arisen?

If you take these questions seriously, the review does not become nostalgic, but alive.

The long arc of the path

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen belongs naturally to this day. It connects across space and time. That is exactly what you need when you want to see Day 1, the middle and the now not as separate chapters, but as one great process.

Perhaps you remember your beginning: curious, searching, perhaps also sceptical or full of longing. Today you carry different experiences within you. Not everything is resolved. But much has become finer, more honest and deeper.

Examples of real transformation

Transformation often does not show itself where people first look. Perhaps you have not gathered spectacular visions. But perhaps today you can deal with conflict differently. Perhaps you sleep more peacefully. Perhaps you are less nervous in treatments. Perhaps you have learned not to interpret every inner movement immediately.

These are not small things. They show that Reiki did not remain only in the head.

Why what remains open also belongs

A mature review does not only praise what has grown. It also sees what is open. Perhaps there are themes that keep returning. Perhaps you sense that some fear is not completely resolved, some hardness has not become completely soft, some longing not completely fulfilled.

This too belongs to the review. An old Reiki master would not pretend that one year must answer all questions. He would rather ask: Have I become truer in how I deal with them?

The deeper teaching

From Day 1 until today, perhaps not simply a course has passed, but a form of inner schooling. When you recognise this clearly, review becomes gratitude - not blind enthusiasm, but precise gratitude for a path that has changed you.

And perhaps this is exactly the most beautiful form of transformation: that today you can look back more calmly, clearly and sincerely than before.

Why this review also gives direction

A yearly review is not only remembrance. It also shows you what should continue to be tended in the coming section. Perhaps silence was more important than expected. Perhaps regularity was deeper than intensity. Perhaps relationships became the actual touchstone of the path.

When you recognise this, the review protects you from continuing unconsciously. Then it becomes guidance for the path.

## Looking back with open eyes

A good review does not romanticise anything. It neither turns every difficult day into a hidden grace nor every progress into a personal triumph. It looks more closely: Where have you become softer? Where clearer? Where more patient? And at which points do you still repeat old patterns, even though you have long known better tools?

Precisely in this lies dignity. When you look at Day 1 today, you do not have to claim that you have become a completely different person. It is enough if you have become more honest, more awake and more permeable. Perhaps you have learned, with Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, to gently relieve a situation from the past without rewriting the story. Such changes are quiet, but deep.

"What is important for me today after reading this day?"

Your answer belongs in your personal Reiki journal. It grows with every day and stays with you alone.

Once you are signed up, single days become a path: your progress is saved, your journal is kept, and the attunement days open at the right time.
