Phase 10 · Integration & Life Path
Day 468 of your Reiki path

Self-treatment: Master version

The most complete treatment of your life

✦   SELF-TREATMENT: MASTER VERSION

The most complete treatment of your life

What is meant by master version

A master self-treatment is not simply longer or more complicated than earlier forms. Its depth does not lie in more, but in integration. Body, breath, perception, symbol work, gathering, silence and inner maturity come together in it.

Especially at the end of a long Reiki year, such a treatment can become a mirror of the whole path. Not as an exam, but as a condensation.

How you can begin this treatment

Begin gathered. Gassho, a few calm breaths and Cho Ku Rei help to bring the energy clearly into the here and now. After that, the treatment can be opened consciously across several levels.

Sei He Ki supports emotional and mental harmonisation. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen can be included if you silently take the whole arc of the year, earlier phases or certain strands of development into the treatment. Dai Ko Myo opens the master level and aligns everything with greater spaciousness and inner light.

The order is not mechanically fixed. What matters is your gathering and perception.

How the master version differs from earlier self-treatments

In the past, self-treatment may have been more oriented towards positions. Today you listen more finely:

- Where does it need more time? - Where is calm already present? - Where should something not be strengthened, but only held? - When does silence become more important than movement?

Precisely this subtlety makes the master version complete. Not the number of steps.

Examples from practice

Example 1: You begin with Cho Ku Rei and calm breathing. After only a few minutes, you notice that the head is not the centre of today's treatment, but the heart and solar plexus. The master version then follows not a plan, but clear perception.

Example 2: During the treatment, with Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen you take not only the present state, but the whole path of this year into your hands. This makes the session less point-specific and more integrative.

Example 3: With Dai Ko Myo at the end, the treatment does not become more intense in a dramatic sense, but quieter, wider and more dignified. This is often a sign of mature self-treatment.

Why this treatment may also remain simple

An old Reiki master would not turn the master version into a performance. He would know: the most complete treatment is not the one with the most elements, but the one in which everything necessary comes together in good order.

So if today you sense that less is more, this can be precisely an expression of mastery.

The deeper teaching

The self-treatment in master version is a quiet gathering together of the path. Everything you have learned, practised, corrected and deepened can find a place in it. Not as a collection of techniques, but as lived unity.

If such a treatment happens calmly, precisely and without self-display, then it may truly be the most complete form of this year.

The master version as inner completeness

The most complete self-treatment of your life does not arise by holding every position for as long as possible. It arises where you take the whole human being with you: body, breath, mood, tiredness, sincerity, inner gathering and the willingness truly to stay present. Then the treatment becomes not only complete, but rounded.

An example: perhaps in the master version you notice much faster where today's true focus lies. You go through the whole sequence and at the same time listen more finely to where more time, dignity or silent remaining is needed. Precisely through this, completeness becomes alive and not mechanical.

An old Reiki master would say: the highest form of self-treatment is not perfection. It is the art of staying with yourself without evasion. ## Why the master version often becomes simpler

With growing experience, a self-treatment does not automatically become longer or more complicated. Often it becomes simpler and more precise. You need less outer dramaturgy because you notice more quickly where gathering is missing, where emotion presses and where the body simply needs rest. This is a master version: not more effort, but more rightness.

Sometimes you first set Cho Ku Rei for bundling, then Sei He Ki where inner states have hardened. On other days, silent laying-on of hands is completely enough. Mastery shows itself not in a fixed formula, but in the fitting choice.

"What is important for me today after reading this day?"

Your answer belongs in your personal Reiki journal. It grows with every day and stays with you alone.
