Cleansing Reiki II
Day 3

Emotional waves

✦   Cleansing Reiki II – Day 3

When feelings come into movement

On the third cleansing day, many report emotional waves more strongly. What on Day 1 may only have been felt as diffuse sensitivity and on Day 2 became more physical can now show itself more clearly in emotional life. This does not have to be intense. But often it becomes visible that Reiki II not only gathers the body, but also touches those inner layers that otherwise remain well controlled or covered.

Emotional waves do not automatically mean drama. They can show themselves as irritability, sadness, sudden softness, withdrawal, tears without a clear story, or also as excessive touchability. Some experience older memories. Others only notice that they react differently to small things than usual. All of this can belong to a cleansing phase, especially when emotional themes work more clearly with Reiki II.

Important: not every wave is the truth

When feelings become strong, everything quickly seems very clear. Precisely for that reason, discernment is important today. An emotional wave shows that something is there, but it does not always explain itself. So you do not have to treat every movement immediately as final insight. It is enough to perceive it, feel its seat in the body, and let Reiki work with it.

An example: you are suddenly unusually sensitive to a remark that would hardly have touched you on other days. Then it is often more helpful first to treat the chest area and solar plexus instead of immediately going into justification or analysis. Another example: during quiet sitting, tears rise without a clear image behind them. Then too, explanation is not what is needed first, but support.

Why Reiki II can work differently here

With Reiki II, the symbols enter the practice as conscious tools for more differentiated work. That is why emotional states are often no longer perceived only at the edges. They come forward more clearly. This is exactly where it also becomes understandable why Sei He Ki has such a special role in Reiki II. It is connected with the releasing of states, including psychological states. This does not mean that it "makes problems go away". It means that it is meaningful where something is held inwardly, cramped, or lived through in the same way again and again.

On the third cleansing day, however, the point is not yet to repair everything symbolically at once. The point is to sense what kind of emotional movement is appearing right now. Only when you take that seriously can later work with Sei He Ki become truly precise.

Treating feelings in the body

A common mistake with emotional waves is to remain only in the head. You think about where it comes from, what it means, why it is appearing right now. That can be useful later. In immediate Reiki practice, it is often more helpful to treat the physical seat of the feeling. Where does it pull? Where does it press? Where does the breath stop? Does the throat become tight? Does the belly become hard? Do shoulders or jaw react?

When you lay your hands there, Reiki works more concretely than if you only circle in the space of thought. Heart area and solar plexus are often especially important on such days. Forehead and back of the head can also be helpful when feelings and thoughts intensify one another. And the feet remain important so that a wave does not pull everything upward.

How to guide yourself well

On an emotionally moving cleansing day, self-guidance is decisive. This does not mean suppression. It means that you do not hand yourself over to every mood. You may be touched, but you do not have to act everything out immediately. You may be sad and still care for yourself well. You may be irritated without passing this irritation on.

Perhaps today this means having fewer discussions. Perhaps answering a message later. Perhaps sleeping first after a self-treatment instead of forcing yourself to do something "useful" as well. Precisely such small decisions show whether Reiki remains only a beautiful concept or truly intervenes in your life.

An honest look at patterns

Emotional waves are often not random. They frequently touch exactly the patterns that can later be worked with through Sei He Ki: recurring hurtability, inner unrest, old injuries, held fear, thought loops that are hard to release. If any of this appears today, it is unpleasant, but also informative. It shows you where the later symbol work will not be abstract, but concrete.

But be careful: insight and judgement are not the same thing. If on Day 3 you notice that an old theme reacts strongly, that is no reason to devalue yourself. It is rather a marker in the terrain: here is work. Here Reiki is not working superficially.

The third day as threshold

Cleansing Reiki II – Day 3 can be an important threshold for many. Not because everything is resolved here, but because it becomes clear that Reiki II can work more deeply into emotional movements. Whoever accompanies this depth cleanly gains trust. Not the naive trust that everything immediately becomes easy. But the adult trust that even moving feelings can be held and treated.

So if you feel waves today, take them seriously, but do not give them all the power. Lay on your hands, breathe, note, rest, remain simple. An old Reiki master would say: when the wave rises, do not become the wave yourself. Become the shore on which it may show itself. That is good Reiki practice on such a day.

"What is important for me today after reading this day?"

Your answer belongs in your personal Reiki journal. It grows with every day and stays with you alone.
